Nuannuan District Library was formerly the “Nuannuan District Reading Room,” and founded on December 11, 1969. It was located in Guogang Community Center. It was relocated to the current address and was rebuilt as a library on January 28, 1983. It was under the jurisdiction of Keelung City Government Education Department. later, it came under the jurisdiction of the Nuannuan District Office and the change took place on July 1, 1998. The construction payment of the library was subsidized by the Executive Yuan in July 2003. The library was replanned, redesigned and renovated. It was reopened in April 2004. The library is provided with open-stack bookcase for users to read. The total area of the library is about 515 Square meters.
