Anle District Administrative Building was completed in November 2008. Anle District Office didn’t move into the Building until March 1, 1988. Anle District Library waited until the Anle District Office moved in and began operations at the same time. Anle District Library had grand facilities and it was the top district library in Keelung in the 90s. However, the overall planning of software and hardware is insufficient. The library became a vacant space. The Anle District Library was reopened on March 17, 2004 after the “Public Library Space Operation Improvement Plan formulated by the Council for Cultural Affairs” was carried out at the end of 2003. The space was renovated and became multi-functional. In 2010, the “Reading Environment Repair and Facility Upgrade Plan” was subsidized by the Ministry of Education. The Anle District Library was reopened on January 11, 2011 after redesign and renovation. It became the favorite of the community residents once again.
