Qidu District has a vast territory. Therefore, the Keelung City Government built the Qidu Yongping Library, which was launched in 2005 and occupies about 661 m2. The entire building is formed by large French windows and consists of an open reading area, children’s area and study space. In 2011, the implementation plan for a reading environment and facility upgrade was subsidized by the MOE. With the aid of the MOE, the library conducted the “Implementation Plan for the Keelung Qidu District Library Baifu Hall Reading Environment and Facility Upgrade.” Baifu Hall was launched on July 31, 2012.
